‘Living Dead' in Fullerton injects new life into 1968 horror film
Maverick Theater’s live version of the cult movie is ingenious, pulse-pounding and terrifying.

When released in 1968, George Romero's low-budget horror film "Night of the Living Dead" was considered one of the goriest films ever. Romero and company created something crude and terrifying, with gross-out special effects of zombies chomping away at humans living and newly dead – images that have endured down through the years.
